On Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced 823 new cases of Coronavirus, and five deaths, in addition to 657 recoveries.
The ministry said in its daily report that it had examined 4,593 samples, noting that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus reached 88.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.9%, and the death rate was 0.8%.
She added that 3 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (an 81-year-old citizen from Beit Furik in Nablus governorate, a 47-year-old citizen from Nour Shams camp in Tulkarm governorate, an 86-year-old citizen from Idhna in Hebron governorate), in addition to the death of a 59-year-old citizen from the Gaza Strip, and one case Death in the town of Beit Hanina, Jerusalem.
Regarding recovery cases, 353 cases were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 48, Jenin 36, Nablus 134, Tulkarm 21, Salfit 6, Qalqilya 9, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 95, Tubas 4), Gaza Strip 282, Jerusalem 22.
She added that the new injuries were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (42), Nablus Governorate (125), Bethlehem Governorate (88), Qalqilya Governorate (21), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (57), Jenin (20), Jericho and Al Aghwar (13) ), Salfit (4), Tulkarm (17), Tubas (1), Gaza Strip (311), Jerusalem suburbs (20)
The Ministry of Health pointed out that there are 40 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 11 patients on artificial respirators.
