The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Tuesday, the registration of 5 deaths, 2,466 new cases of corona, and 742 new cases of recovery from the virus, in the last 24 hours.
She added that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine amounted to 93.4%, while the percentage of active infections was 5.5%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
The minister indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 123, Tulkarm 252, Salfit 93, Nablus 293, Tubas 36, Jenin 102, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 142, Jericho and the Jordan Valley 8, Jerusalem suburbs 11, Hebron 33, Bethlehem 9, Gaza Strip 1364".
She added that the new recoveries were distributed as follows: “Qalqilya 31, Tulkarm 51, Salfit 20, Nablus 165, Tubas 27, Jenin 38, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 64, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 2, Jerusalem suburbs 5, Hebron 10, Bethlehem 8, and the Gaza Strip. 321".
5 citizens died as a result of infection with the virus, including 3 in the Gaza Strip, one case in Salfit, and another in Ramallah and Al-Bireh, according to the Minister of Health.
She pointed out that there are 50 patients in intensive care rooms, while 135 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank, including 8 patients on ventilators.
She stated that the total number of citizens who received vaccines against the Corona virus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 935,756, including 456,543 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
