Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced that 5 deaths, 713 new cases of "Corona" virus, and 920 recoveries were recorded in all governorates of the country during the last 24 hours.
The Minister of Health, Mai al-Kaila, said that the new deaths were recorded for citizens (68 and 64 years) from Hebron, and 3 deaths were in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, the town of Anata and the Shuafat camp in occupied Jerusalem.
It added that the new casualties were distributed in the governorates according to the following: Hebron (133), Nablus (61), Bethlehem (52), Qalqilya (39), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (34), Jenin (19), Salfit (23), Jericho and Al-Aghwar. (15), Tulkarm (28), Tubas (4), Gaza Strip (95), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (5), while it was recorded in Jerusalem (205) during the last 48 hours, indicating that the number of checks conducted in the governorates reached 5028. Al-Kaila continued that new cases of recovery were recorded in the governorates as follows: Hebron (134), Jenin (105), Tulkarm (45), Qalqilya (42), Nablus (31), Salfit (54), Bethlehem (115), Tubas ( 8) Gaza Strip (112), Jerusalem (274).
She pointed out that the rate of recovery from the "Corona" virus in Palestine reached 73.9%, while the percentage of active infections reached 25.4%, and the death rate was 0.7% of all infections.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 42 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 11 patients on artificial respirators.
