The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Friday, the registration of 5 deaths, 121 new infections with the Corona virus, and 110 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that the new deaths were recorded in the governorates as follows: Jenin (2), Gaza Strip (3).
She said that the new infections were recorded as follows: Tubas (1), Salfit (1), Jenin (3), Jericho and the Jordan Valley (1), Nablus (5), Tulkarm (1), Hebron (1), and the Gaza Strip (108). Noting that 2,427 tests were conducted.
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Jenin (5), Hebron (1), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (2), and the Gaza Strip (102), noting that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 98.2%, while it was The rate of active infections is 0.7%, and the death rate is 1.1% of all injuries.
She pointed out that there are 9 injured in intensive care rooms, including two on ventilators, while 15 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
As for the citizens who received the anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 516,013, of whom 371,706 received both doses of the vaccine.
