45,000 Palestinians performed Friday prayers in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the occupied city of Jerusalem, despite the strict military measures imposed by the Israeli occupation authorities at the gates and entrances to the Old City of Jerusalem.
The occupation forces deployed in the streets of the city and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa, stationed at its gates, stopped the worshipers and checked their ID cards, prevented dozens from entering the mosque, stopped buses and arrested young men randomly.
Despite the occupation measures, the Palestinian flag was raised on one of the gates of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Throughout the week, Jerusalem calls for seclusion in the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque continued, today, Friday, in response to the settlers’ incursions and provocations.
