43 Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa mosque

JERUSALEM _ Palestine News Network

Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the holy Al-Aqsa mosque in occupied Jerusalem on Sunday morning with heightened security protection from the Israeli occupation police.

A reporter from the "Quds Press" said that 43 settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa mosque, some of whom led a ritual in the vicinity of "Bab al-Rahma".

It explained that elements of the occupying police and the heavily armed special forces had protected the detainees and escorted them to their exit from the "door of the chain".

The Israeli occupation police allow the settlers a second round of storming, which begins after the Zuhr prayer is completed.

The Islamic Waqf in Jerusalem rejects the incursions, which it says are carried out by the Israeli police force within the daily rounds of the "Bab al-Mughrabi" and even the "door of the series".
