Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced 4 deaths due to infection with the Coronavirus, in addition to 582 new infections, and 456 recoveries.
The Ministry indicated that it had conducted tests for 5448 samples, and indicated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 87.79%, while the rate of active infections reached 11.36%, and the death rate was 0.85% of all infections.
She added in the daily report that 4 deaths were recorded in the West Bank, (57-year-old citizen from Qalqilya, 71-year-old citizen from Askar camp in Nablus governorate, 62-year-old citizen from Tulkarm, 78-year-old citizen from Hebron).
Regarding recovery cases, 258 cases were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 98, Jenin 32, Nablus 73, Tulkarm 28, Qalqilya 5, Salfit 14, Tubas 8), in addition to 198 cases of recovery in the Gaza Strip.
She added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (48), Nablus Governorate (102), Bethlehem Governorate (45), Qalqilya Governorate (13), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (44), Jenin (24), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (16) ), Salfit (7), Tulkarm (20), Tubas (7), the Gaza Strip (248), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (8).
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 40 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 9 patients on artificial respirators.
