The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced the registration of 4 deaths and 576 new cases of Coronavirus in the country.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus in Palestine, today, Tuesday, the Minister stated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 88.2%, while the rate of active infections reached 11%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
Al-Kailah added that 4 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (a 60-year-old citizen from Yasuf in Salfit Governorate, a 60-year-old citizen from Awarta in Nablus Governorate, and a 69-year-old citizen from Qatana).
With regard to recovery cases, 289 cases were recorded in the West Bank (58 Hebron, 8 Salfit, 55 Nablus, 135 Jericho and Al Aghwar, 6 Tubas, 27 Jenin), and the Gaza Strip 100.
It added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (64), Nablus Governorate (88), Bethlehem Governorate (34), Qalqilya Governorate (4), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (42), Jenin (37), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (22). ), Salfit (17), Tulkarm (38), Tubas (4), the Gaza Strip (199), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (27).
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 40 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 6 patients, who are connected to artificial respirators.
