Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 4 deaths, 457 new cases of Coronavirus and 540 recoveries had been recorded during the last 24 hours.
Al-Kailah added in a press statement, that the deaths were recorded in Dura, south of Hebron, in the city of Nablus, in the Mount of Olives and in the Shuafat camp in Jerusalem, and they were previously announced yesterday evening and this morning.
She indicated that the new infections were distributed among the governorates as follows:
Hebron Governorate (140).
Nablus governorate (10).
Bethlehem Governorate (21).
Qalqilya Governorate (11).
Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (42).
Jericho and Al Aghwar governorate (64).
Tulkarm Governorate (17).
Salfit Governorate (1).
Jerusalem governorate (151) including 27 in the suburbs.
The Minister of Health added that new recoveries were recorded in each of:
Hebron Governorate (346).
Tubas Governorate (1).
Jenin Governorate (1).
Nablus governorate (38).
Jericho and Al Aghwar governorate (28).
Qalqilya Governorate (3).
Salfit Governorate (3).
The City of Jerusalem (120).
Al-Keela explained that the recovery rate reached 62.6%, while the rate of active injuries reached 36.8%, and deaths were 0.6% of the total injuries recorded in Palestine.
She pointed out that there are 25 patients in intensive care rooms, including 6 patients, who are connected to artificial respirators.
