Thirty-seven Palestinians were injured by Israeli fire and gas inhalation on Friday, following the suppression of the occupation of demonstrators in the return marchs and the breaking of the siege.
According to the Health Ministry, 37 people were injured, including four journalists and five paramedics, including Ahmed Washa, who was wounded with a rubber-coated metal bullet in the head. He was evacuated to al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital for treatment.
A Red Crescent ambulance was hit east of Khan Younis by a direct gas bomb, it said.
The Supreme National Authority for Return and Breaking the Siege on the marches called "Prisoner Day" on the occasion of the Prisoner´s Day which happened last Wednesday.
