According to local media, more than 340 settlers have stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem over the past week.
The settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from the occupying police and wandered its squares.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque, except Friday and Saturday (an official holiday to the occupation), is subjected to a series of incursions and violations by settlers and various occupying arms.
Since 2003, Israeli police have allowed settlers to storm the mosque through the door of the Moroccans.
The frequency of incursions increased during October, specifically during the Jewish New Year, Forgiveness and "Throne" jewish festivals, where 6,338 settlers stormed it, according to the Wadi Helweh Information Center.
The occupation police usually allow settlers to break into al-Aqsa´s courtyards and roam them from the "Door of the Moroccans" before leaving the "Bab al-Sa´a", which is witnessing provocative attempts and Talmudic prayers.

The Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, which is responsible for managing the mosque´s affairs, is demanding a halt to the incursions, but the Israeli police have not responded to the request.
