Occupation destroys part of a tourist project near the archaeological site in Sebastia

The Israeli occupation forces on Sunday destroyed part of a tourist project near the archaeological site in the town of Sebastia, north of Nablus.

The mayor of Sebastia Mohammed Azem said that the occupation forces stormed the town for the third time in 24 hours, and destroyed part of the tourist project, which aims to rehabilitate Al-Baidar Square near the archaeological site, located in areas classified as "B".

He added that the occupation forces swept away what was achieved through the project funded by the Belgian cooperation, managed by the Municipal Development Fund and the relevant ministerial committees.
