The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 3 deaths, 422 new cases of Coronavirus, and 772 recoveries were recorded during the past 24 hours.
Al-Kailah added in the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the Corona virus in Palestine, today, Sunday, that 3 deaths were recorded, of an 83-year-old citizen from Beit Sira in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate who was suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes, and a 77-year-old citizen from Tulkarm was suffering from Inflammation and pulmonary failure, and a 14-year-old girl from Halhul, Hebron Governorate, was suffering from kidney failure.
It added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (71), Nablus Governorate (27), Bethlehem Governorate (32), Qalqilya Governorate (1), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (29), Jenin (43), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (22). ), Salfit (3), Tulkarm (31), the Gaza Strip (87), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (5).
It indicated that 655 cases of recovery were recorded in the northern governorates (66 Hebron, 57 Jenin, 22 Tulkarm, 21 Qalqilya, 5 Salfit, 370 suburbs of Jerusalem, 79 Nablus, 29 Bethlehem, 6 Tubas).
It indicated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 87.1%, while the rate of active infections reached 12.1%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 41 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 8 patients connected to artificial respirators.
