Today, Tuesday, Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila announced the registration of 3 deaths, 258 new infections with the “Corona” virus, and 252 cases of recovery during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the virus in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that the new deaths were recorded in the governorates as follows: Nablus (1), Gaza Strip (2).
She said that the new infections were recorded as follows: Jenin (6), Nablus (7), Hebron (1), Jericho (1), Tulkarm (1), Bethlehem (1), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (1), Gaza Strip ( 240), pointing out that 2,924 examinations were conducted.
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Jenin (8), Nablus (2), Hebron (3), Tulkarm (1), Bethlehem (4), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (17), Jerusalem suburbs (1), Qalqilya (6), Tubas (3), Jericho and the Jordan Valley (2), Gaza Strip (205).
She stated that the recovery rate from the “Corona” virus in Palestine reached 97.7%, while the percentage of active infections was 1.2%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 13 patients in intensive care rooms, including two patients on artificial respirators, while 19 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
As for the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 418,703, of whom 256,233 received both doses of the vaccine.
