Central Elections Commission spokesperson Farid Toamallah said that as of Wednesday evening, the number of registered voters in the election registry reached 2,400,000 male and female voters in all the Palestinian territories, accounting for 85% of the right to vote.

In an interview with the official radio on Thursday morning, Toamallah added that the election commission is satisfied with the progress of preparations and preparations for the elections in the Gaza Strip.

Pointing out that there is a weakness in registration in the Hebron region, which will focus on in the coming period and the intensification of electoral campaigns there.

Tohmullah indicated to the committee that a series of meetings will be held with civil society institutions in the Gaza Strip to inform them of the scheme, the mechanism of action, how to submit monitoring requests, and what is related to local monitoring of elections to encourage local institutions to monitor the elections.

Tohmallah announced that the committee will hold other meetings in the West Bank and Gaza, when the candidacy stage begins.
