Today, Saturday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced that 24 deaths, 1,651 new injuries and 1,665 recoveries have been recorded in the country during the last 24 hours.
She added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.6%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.3%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 44, Tulkarm 77, Tubas 23, Jenin 134, Salfit 17, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 91, Nablus 119, Jerusalem suburbs 7, Hebron 90, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 7, Bethlehem 27” 62 Gaza Strip, Jerusalem, 953.
Al-Kaila added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Qalqilya 0, Tulkarm 74, Tubas 62, Jenin 189, Salfit 52, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 144, Nablus 202, Jerusalem suburbs 36, Hebron 378, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 19, Bethlehem 89”, Gaza Strip 240, Jerusalem 180.
Twelve deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Tulkarm 1, Jenin 1, Salfit 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Nablus 4, Hebron 4”, 8 deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip, and 4 deaths were recorded in Jerusalem.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 200 patients in intensive care rooms, including 63 patients on artificial respirators, while 647 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received the anti-Coronavirus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 90,204, including 10146 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
