The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced today, Friday, that it had recorded 23 deaths, 1,440 cases of Coronavirus, and 2546 recoveries during the last 24 hours.
It indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Nablus 151, Tulkarm 49, Tubas 25, Qalqilya 21, Jenin 78, Salfit 9, Hebron 63, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 30, Bethlehem 17, the suburbs of Jerusalem 2, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 3”, The Gaza Strip 992.
As for the deaths, 10 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Nablus 4, Tulkarm 1, Jenin 1, Hebron 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1, Bethlehem 1”, and 13 deaths in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Kailah added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Nablus 254, Tulkarm 18, Tubas 25, Qalqilya 0, Jenin 56, Salfit 15, Hebron 47, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 85, Bethlehem 67, the suburbs of Jerusalem 50, Jericho and Al Aghwar 6”, Gaza Strip 1923.
It indicated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 90.4%, while the rate of active infections reached 8.5%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 147 patients in intensive care rooms, including 40 patients on artificial respirators, while 438 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received the anti-corona virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 169,856, of whom 43,382 received the two doses of the vaccine.
