Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 22 deaths, 2,309 new cases of the Corona virus, and 1593 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kailah stated that 16 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Tulkarm 1, Qalqilya 1, Nablus 4, Hebron 4, Jenin 1, Tubas 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1”, and 5 Deaths in the city of Jerusalem, and one death in the Gaza Strip.
She indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: Tulkarm 164, Qalqilya 96, Nablus 351, Hebron 532, Jenin 164, Salfit 61, Jerusalem suburbs 21, Bethlehem 144, Tubas 41, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 225, Jericho and Al Aghwar 28. Gaza Strip 156, Jerusalem 326.
She added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tulkarm 100, Qalqilya 66, Nablus 53, Hebron 330, Jenin 63, Salfit 77, Jerusalem suburbs 107, Bethlehem 135, Tubas 39, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 413, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 18, Sector Gaza 120, Jerusalem 420.
It indicated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.6%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Regarding the health conditions of the injured, the Minister of Health pointed out that there are 168 wounded in the intensive care rooms, of whom 44 are connected to artificial respirators.
