The Israeli occupation Army (IDF) announced the arrest of 18 Palestinians from the West Bank early Wednesday and the seizure of a pistol in northern Hebron.
The occupation arrested five citizens of Jenin province: Bakr Abu Obaidullah, Mustafa Shibani and former captive Jafar Izz al-Din of Rabeh, as well as former captive Yusuf Abu Yeast, and former captive Naji Nazzal of Qabatiya.
The former captive, Zayed Hassan Malitat, 35, was arrested from Beit Furik, east of Nablus, after his house was raided and searched.
In the city of Ramallah, local sources said that the occupation had arrested Laith Kanaan Barghouti and Al-Bireh Mahmud al-Qadi.
The sources noted the arrest of Cheb Mohammed Suleiman al-Rashaydeh, 22, after raiding his father´s house and inspecting him in Rashaida, east of Bethlehem.
The sources documented the arrest of four residents of Hebron: Mohammed Jibril Salama of Yatta, Mahmoud Suleiman Akhlil from Beit Emal, Maher Abu Wardeh from Arroub camp, and Baha Ganimat of Tsurif.
The Israeli occupation forces arrested Louay Sami al-Rajabi from his home in Ayn al-Lozah neighborhood in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
