Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced the registration of 16 deaths, 1,511 new cases of Coronavirus, and 1625 recoveries during the last 24 hours.
She stated in the epidemiological report, today, Friday, that 14 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Qalqilya 2, the suburbs of Jerusalem 2, Hebron 4, Jenin 1, Nablus 3, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 2, and two deaths in the Gaza Strip.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tubas 21, Qalqilya 59, Tulkarm 45, the suburbs of Jerusalem 28, Hebron 206, Jenin 163, Salfit 43, Nablus 84, Bethlehem 80, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 153, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 12, Gaza Strip 617 ".
Al-Kaila said that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.6%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
She added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: Tubas 15, Qalqilya 62, Tulkarm 166, Jerusalem suburbs 78, Hebron 373, Jenin 167, Salfit 55, Nablus 309, Bethlehem 0, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 311, Jericho and Al Aghwar 9, Gaza Strip 80 ".
She pointed out that there are 205 patients in intensive care rooms, including 69 patients on artificial respirators, while 690 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received anti-virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 33,554, including 6,045 who received the two doses of the vaccine, while the total doses of all vaccinated people as of this morning reached 39,599 doses.
