Today, Wednesday, 153 Jewish settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, under security protection by the Israeli occupation police.
And the Islamic endowments in occupied Jerusalem stated, in a brief statement, that 153 settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa courtyards from the "Mughrabi Gate", with close protection from the occupation police. It reported that these settlers carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, until they left it from "Bab al-Silsila." The city of Jerusalem in general, and the Al-Aqsa Mosque in particular, have been witnessing since the beginning of the current month of Ramadan, skirmishes between Palestinian youths and the occupation police due to recent attempts to prevent annual Ramadan gatherings and activities in the city center. Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to continuous Israeli incursions by settlers and the occupation police, and attempts to prevent its reconstruction, as well as the imposition of strict restrictions on its visitors, and other practices. On a daily basis, the Al-Aqsa Mosque (except for Friday and Saturday) witnesses incursions and violations by settlers and the occupation police, and on two periods in the morning and evening.
