Today, Wednesday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 13 deaths, 2,288 new infections with the Coronavirus, and 1,839 recoveries were recorded during the last 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila indicated that 12 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Qalqilya 2, Nablus 1, Tulkarm 2, Jenin 2, Hebron 4, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 1”, and one death in the Gaza Strip.
It indicated that the new injuries were recorded as follows: “Qalqilya 55, Nablus 269, Tulkarm 103, Jenin 174, Tubas 44, Hebron 286, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 186, Salfit 21, the suburbs of Jerusalem 30, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 12, Bethlehem 47”, Gaza Strip 1061.
She added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Qalqilya 75, Nablus 178, Tulkarm 189, Jenin 258, Tubas 35, Hebron 417, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 143, Salfit 38, Jerusalem suburbs 94, Jericho and Al Aghwar 27, Bethlehem 144”, Sector Gaza 241.
It indicated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 89.7%, while the rate of active infections reached 9.2%, and the death rate was 1.1% of all infections.
Regarding the health conditions of the injured, the Minister of Health pointed out that there are 209 patients with corona in the intensive care rooms, including 68 connected to artificial respirators, while 692 patients are treated in Corona centers and departments in hospitals in the West Bank.
As for the citizens who received anti-Coronavirus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 78,379, of whom 8,687 received the two doses of the vaccine.
