The Ministry of Health said today, Saturday, 13 deaths, and 1139 new cases of Coronavirus in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The Ministry also recorded 1545 new recovery cases, bringing the recovery rate in Palestine to 90.6%, while the rate of active injuries is 8.3%, and the death rate is 1.1%.
6 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (Qalqilya 1, Nablus 1, Hebron 3, Salfit 1), and in the Gaza Strip 7 deaths. The ministry indicated that 153 patients are in intensive care, and 43 are on artificial respirators, out of 438 being treated in hospitals and Corona centers in the West Bank.
The number of injuries in the West Bank reached 267 out of 1,349 samples that were examined, and the injuries were distributed as follows: Qalqilya 13, Tubas 8, Nablus 97, Hebron 8, the suburbs of Jerusalem 3, Tulkarm 28, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 73, Jenin 25, Salfit 3, Jericho Al Aghwar 1, Bethlehem 8, Gaza Strip 872.
As for the citizens who received anti-virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 169,960, of whom 43,533 received the two doses of the vaccine.
