Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will lay the foundation stone for the construction of a new settlement called Donald Trump, the US president in the occupied Golan, beginning or mid-next month, the Hebrew magazine Macor Rishon reported Wednesday.
According to the site, the new settlement, which will be officially announced by Netanyahu laying the foundation stone in the presence of the leadership of the Golan settlements, will be affiliated by 12 Israeli families in the first stage.
He pointed out that the settlement will be built near the settlement of Kela Alon in the northern Golan.
Since the occupation of the Golan, Israel has established 29 settlements between 1967 and 1977, and another 24 settlements have been established within 42 years.
Benjamin Netanyahu announced weeks ago that he would announce the construction of a new settlement named Trump in recognition of his position and his declaration of recognition of Israel´s sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
