The Israeli army deployed an iron dome battery in all areas of Israel, especially the Gaza Strip, Tuesday.
According to the Hebrew newspaper Maariv, the iron dome was deployed in several locations in preparation for a possible escalation against the Gaza Strip, especially with the upcoming celebrations of the so-called "Independence" (the Palestinian Nakba) as well as the European Song Contest.
This comes after the Israeli army announced this morning that the rocket fired from Gaza last night towards the coast of Ashdod was deliberate and stands the Jihad movement behind him.
