The Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced today, Wednesday, the registration of 176 new cases of “Corona” virus and 118 cases of recovery, while no deaths were recorded during the past 24 hours.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kaila confirmed that the new infections were recorded in the governorates as follows: Nablus (10), Jenin (5), Tulkarm (1), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (3), Hebron (1), Gaza Strip ( 154), Jerusalem Suburbs (2), noting that 3,307 tests were conducted.
Al-Kaila said that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: Jenin (10), Tulkarm (3), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (2), Hebron (3), and the Gaza Strip (100).
She added that the recovery rate from the “Corona” virus in Palestine reached 98%, while the percentage of active infections was 0.9%, and the death rate was 1.1% of the total infections.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 6 injured in intensive care rooms, including one on ventilators, while 12 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
As for the citizens who received antiviral vaccines, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 467,225, including 311,683 who received both doses of the vaccine.
