Today, Monday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kaila, announced the registration of 6 deaths, 156 new cases of corona and 325 cases of recovery during the last 24 hours.
She added that the recovery rate from the Corona virus in Palestine amounted to 97.7%, while the percentage of active infections was 1.2%, and the death rate was 1.1%, of the total infections.
The minister indicated that the new infections were recorded as follows: “Jenin 6, Nablus 10, Hebron 3, Tulkarm 1, Bethlehem 1, Ramallah 3, Gaza Strip 132.”
Al-Kaila added that the new cases of recovery were distributed as follows: “Jenin 8, Nablus 33, Hebron 1, Tulkarm 4, Bethlehem 2, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 4, Salfit 1, Jerusalem suburbs 1, Qalqilya 2, Tubas 2, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 1, Gaza Strip.” Gaza 266". The ministry recorded one death in the city of Nablus, and five deaths in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 13 patients in intensive care rooms, including two patients on artificial respirators, while 18 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
She stated that the total number of citizens who received vaccines against the Corona virus reached 412,566 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including 253,604 who received the two doses of the vaccine.
