Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaila announced today, Saturday, that 28 deaths, 1618 new cases of corona, and 1773 recoveries have been recorded during the past 24 hours.
The minister added that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 88.7%, while the rate of active infections reached 10.3%, and the death rate was 1.0% of all infections.
The minister indicated that new injuries were recorded as follows: “Tubas 20, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 5, Salfit 12, Nablus 96, Jenin 61, Qalqilya 17, Bethlehem 21, Hebron 10, Tulkarm 21, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 36, the suburbs of Jerusalem 1, Gaza Strip 1318. "
Al-Kailah added that the new recovery cases were divided according to the following: “Tubas 52, Jericho and Al-Aghwar 11, Salfit 3, Nablus 147, Jenin 162, Qalqilya 39, Bethlehem 24, Hebron 218, Tulkarm 44, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 66, the suburbs of Jerusalem 7, Sector Gaza 1000 ".
18 deaths were recorded in the West Bank: “Hebron 3, Bethlehem 1, Jenin 2, Salfit 1, the suburbs of Jerusalem 1, Tubas 1, Tulkarm 3, Qalqilya 2, Nablus 4”, Gaza Strip 10.
The Minister of Health pointed out that there are 172 patients in intensive care rooms, including 51 patients on artificial respirators, while 532 patients are being treated in Corona centers and departments in West Bank hospitals.
The minister stated that the citizens who received anti-corona virus vaccinations, their total number in the West Bank and Gaza Strip reached 159754, of whom 23,113 received the two doses of the vaccine.
