The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Tuesday, that 8 deaths from the Corona virus have been recorded, while 1,292 new infections were recorded after 3919 laboratory tests were performed during the past 24 hours.
The ministry added that 857 new cases of corona have been recovered.
The ministry stated that the total number of people infected with Corona in the Gaza Strip is 84,579, of whom 20,484 are active cases, 63,393 recoveries and 702 deaths.
The Ministry stated that the total number of cases that need medical attention in the hospital is 395, and the total of severe and critical cases is 276.
With regard to vaccination, the ministry indicated that the total doses that reached the Gaza Strip are 81,600 doses, which are sufficient for 40,800 people, pointing out that the total number of people who received the vaccine is 32,153 people.
