Minister of Health Mai Al-Kailah announced that 11 deaths and 1158 cases of corona have been recorded in the country.
In the daily report on the epidemiological situation of the Coronavirus in Palestine, today, Tuesday, she stated that the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 87.1%, while the rate of active infections reached 12.1%, and the death rate was 0.8% of all infections.
Minister Al-Kailah added that 6 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (a 55-year-old citizen from Sinjil in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, an 80-year-old citizen from Beit Iksa in the suburbs of Jerusalem, a 68-year-old citizen from Zanouba and a 55-year-old citizen from Telegya in the Jenin governorate, and a 60-year-old citizen from a refugee camp. Askar al-Quds and a 67-year-old citizen from Nablus), in addition to a 66-year-old citizen and a 73-year-old citizen from the Gaza Strip, and 3 deaths in Jerusalem.
With regard to recovery cases, 426 cases were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 56, Jenin 19, Nablus 138, Tulkarm 6, Qalqilya 5, Salfit 7, Bethlehem 155, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 40), Gaza Strip 305, Jerusalem (43) .
She added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (93), Nablus Governorate (155), Bethlehem Governorate (98), Qalqilya Governorate (12), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (76), Jenin (48), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (7) ), Salfit (11), Tulkarm (34), Tubas (12), the Gaza Strip (486), the suburbs of Jerusalem (36), and the city of Jerusalem (90).
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 44 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 9 patients, who are connected to artificial respirators.
