The Ministry of Health announced, Saturday, 10 deaths, 653 new cases of Coronavirus, and 424 infected people recovered, after examining 3,922 samples.
According to the Minister of Health, the rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 87.9%, while the rate of active infections reached 11.2%, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
She added that 9 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (a 72-year-old citizen from Za´tara and a 24-year-old citizen from Al-Abidiya in the Bethlehem governorate, a 66-year-old citizen from Hizma in the suburbs of Jerusalem, a 66-year-old citizen from Jazoun in Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, an 84-year-old citizen from Beit Ummar in the Hebron governorate. A 91-year-old citizen from Nablus and an 82-year-old citizen from Ein Beit Al-Ma` Camp in the Nablus governorate, a 89-year-old citizen from Burqin and a 74-year-old citizen from Taanak, Jenin governorate), in addition to the death of a 67-year-old citizen from the Gaza Strip.
As for recovery cases, 129 cases were recorded in the West Bank (Hebron 47, Jenin 20, Nablus 27, Tulkarm 24, Salfit 10, Tubas 1) and Gaza Strip 295.
It added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron Governorate (25), Nablus Governorate (95), Bethlehem Governorate (32), Qalqilya Governorate (33), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (72), Jenin (27), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (9) ), Salfit (17), Tulkarm (19), Tubas (4), the Gaza Strip (310), and the suburbs of Jerusalem (10).
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 40 patients in intensive care rooms, including 9 patients on artificial respirators.
