Dozens of Jewish settlers stormed the al-Aqsa mosque on Sunday under heightened security protection by the Israeli occupation police and its special forces.
According to a source in the Islamic Waqf Department of the "Quds Press", the Israeli occupation police allowed dozens of settlers to break into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, to roam in their courtyards, and to perform their rituals and prayers.
He added that 46 settlers broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque, in addition to 13 Jewish guides, from the "Bab al-Mughrabi" and even the "Bab al-Series".
Settler incursions were secured through the occupying police and heavily armed special forces.
The number of settlers is expected to rise during the day, as the Israeli occupation police allow settlers to take another break-in after the Zuhr prayers are completed.
