Abu Bakr: The year 2019, an unprecedented targeting of female prisoners by converting them to unfair administrative detention

the head of the Prisoners and Editors Affairs Authority Major General Qadri Abu Bakr, said today that the year 2019 witnesses a clear targeting of female prisoners by transferring them to administrative and arbitrary detention, and detaining them without charge and under the pretext of the secret file.

Abu Bakr pointed out that the Israeli occupation authorities transferred the captive Shatha Hassan (20 years) from the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorates to administrative detention for three months, to increase the number of female detainees in administrative detention to four: the captive Alaa Al-Bashir (23 years) from Qalqilya, and the captive Shorouq Al-Baden (25 years old) from Bethlehem, and the captive Bushra Al-Tawil (26 years old) from Ramallah.

He stressed, "The Israeli occupation authorities have transformed their military courts into a political tool to deepen the suffering of our people and families, with cover from the Israeli judiciary, which is completely consistent with the Israeli intelligence service and prison officers, to master in violating international law through formal and formal courts that do not originally follow the trial procedures."

These statements of Abu Bakr came during his visit and the accompanying delegation from the authority and the staff of the Patience Giants program, to the liberated prisoner Alaa Barham from the town of Kafr Qaddum, Qalqilya Governorate, on the occasion of his liberation after spending 12 years in the occupation prisons.
