Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas confirmed tuesday evening his keenness to hold legislative and presidential general elections and provide every opportunity to complete them.
This came during the president´s reception at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah, tuesday evening, chairman of the Central Election Commission Hanna Nasser and his deputy Hisham Kahil, after Nasser held intensive meetings in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mohamed Ashteh, The Head of the General Authority for Civil Affairs, Minister Hussein al-Sheikh, and Legal Advisor to President Ali Muhanna, the official news agency IRNA reported.
