The Russian Foreign Ministry said Washington´s approach to settling the Palestinian issue, including the recent Bahrain international meeting, was not constructive.
The economic plan, discussed at the Bahrain workshop, which includes investments and projects worth $ 50 billion for the Palestinians, is a non-constructive step, the Russian foreign ministry said in a statement on Thursday.
She explained that the solution proposed by the US administration does not include the establishment of two states, nor did it provide for direct negotiations between Palestinians and Israelis and the establishment of a Palestinian state on the June 1967 borders.
