Crews of the Israeli occupation municipality in Jerusalem, guarded by a military force, attacked and seized the vendors ´ plaza in downtown Jerusalem on Monday.
According to local sources, the campaign was focused on Salah al-Din Street off the historic wall of Al-Quds Al-Saher, targeted at women vendors, including assaults on a number of them, and the release of financial irregularities to a number of others.
The sellers have been showing their goods in the area for decades, especially on the eve of Eid al-Adha, while the occupation municipality is trying to eliminate any Palestinian appearance in the city, including the prosecution of the sellers and the seizure of their yard.
