The occupation demolishes 3 facilities in Jerusalem and is notified of the demolition of two homes in the Jordan Valley

Today, Wednesday, the Israeli occupation authorities demolished three housing facilities in east occupied Jerusalem, while two homes and two agricultural facilities were demolished in the northern Jordan Valley.

Palestinian sources stated that bulldozers and crews of the occupation municipality in Jerusalem stormed the town of "Issawiya" and carried out demolition and vandalism operations in the areas of "Al-Za´aroura" and "Habayel Al-Arab", under the pretext of not being licensed.

It indicated that these facilities consist of vehicle parts stores, two residential rooms, and a vehicle garage, belonging to the citizens of Majed Al-Mazraawi and Darwish Darwish.

In the same context, the Israeli occupation authorities notified, today, Wednesday, the demolition of two homes and two agricultural facilities in the town of Al-Jiftlik, in the northern Jordan Valley.

According to local sources, the occupation forces informed Omar Muhammad Idais of removing two houses and two agricultural facilities that he owned in the Al-Jiftlik area within two weeks.

Citizen Idais said, in press statements, that the occupation forces´ implementation of their threat of demolition would displace his large family and end his only source of livelihood in that area where he has lived for many years.

The occupation authorities demolish Palestinian homes and facilities in the Jordan Valley on an ongoing basis, under the pretext that there are no building permits, and that they are located within the lands classified (C) according to the Oslo Agreement, even though the homeowners possess identity papers proving their right to ownership of the land.

Area "C" constitutes more than 60 percent of the area of the West Bank, and falls under full Israeli civil and security responsibility, and is spread by Israeli settlements.
