In the daily report on the epidemiological situation in Palestine, Al-Kela reported that the recovery rate from MERS-CoV in Palestine was 90.4%, the active infection rate was 8.5%, and the mortality rate was 1.1% of all infections.
She noted that the new casualties were recorded as follows: "Bethlehem 193, Qalqilya 63, Jerusalem suburbs 106, Jericho and The Jordan Valley 46, Tubas 24, Nablus 239, Hebron 322, Salfit 94, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 389, Tulkarem 81, Jenin 69", Gaza Strip 98.
The minister added that the new recovery cases were distributed as follows: "Bethlehem 115, Qalqilya 35, Jerusalem Suburbs 0, Jericho and The Jordan Valley 17, Tubas 7, Nablus 57, Hebron 82, Salfit 55, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 299, Tulkarem 35, Jenin 23", Gaza Strip 83.
Fourteen deaths were recorded in the West Bank: "Hebron 6, Bethlehem 1, Ramallah and Al-Bireh 4, Jenin 1, Nablus 1, Salfit 1", and two deaths were recorded in the Gaza Strip.
There are 116 patients in intensive care rooms, including 29 patients on ventilators, she said.
