Israeli occupation bulldozers continue to bulldoze isolated land behind the 2,000-dunum apartheid wall in the southeastern area of Qalqilya, adjacent to the "Al-Fi Menshah" settlement on the land of several towns south of Qalqilya.
"The dredging work is taking place in agricultural areas of the land of the towns of Asla and Ras Taira, including government forestland, to establish a commercial center for the settlement (Al-Fifi Menshah) and public facilities that have been announced in advance," said Mohammed Abu al-Sheikh, head of the settlement file in Qalqilya province.
"The Council of Settlements in the West Bank is increasing the frequency of confiscation of land near settlements, especially isolated by the racist wall, as these lands are more targeted, as they are isolated by the wall, and it is difficult for residents to take care of and cultivate them because of security restrictions on them, so the settlers are unleashed to seize it and set up public facilities at the expense of its owners," Abu al-Sheikh said.
