The head of the Prisoners and Editors Affairs Authority, Major General Qadri Abu Bakr, said that the year 2020 is the most difficult in terms of pressure and restrictions on the rights of prisoners and their medical and living benefits guaranteed by humanitarian law, especially in light of the arrival of the Corona pandemic into detention camps Due to deliberate medical negligence on the one hand and targeting their benefits and rights on the other hand.

This came during his speech at a virtual event organized by Fatah - the territory of Norway through the electronic communication application "Zoom", on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

Major General Abu Bakr stressed the importance of linking the issue of prisoners of freedom and their just families with the global solidarity movement with the rights of the Palestinian people, a people who has been punished by the arrest of more than a million prisoners over the years of their resistance to the occupation, calling on the international community and supporters of our people to show solidarity with our brave prisoners against the occupation policy And affirming the leadership´s adherence to the rights of prisoners inside and outside detention centers.
