The Ministry of Health receives 21 ventilators from the World Health Organization

The Ministry of Health received 21 ventilators from the World Health Organization.

The ministry indicated in a statement that this support comes as a continuation of the organization´s great support to the Ministry of Health, as these devices will be followed by 20 other devices that will be sent to the Ministry’s centers in the Gaza Strip.

The Minister of Health Dr. said. May Al-Kayleh during receiving the devices The Health Organization´s support for the Palestinian health sector has greatly contributed to mitigating the effects of the Corona pandemic on citizens and patients and on the health sector, which faced great pressure on its centers during the pandemic.

Dr. praised. Al-Kailah praised the strong relations between the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, thanking the Director of the Organization´s Office in Palestine, Dr. Gerald Rockenshoab for his tireless efforts and cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

The reception of the devices was attended by the Ministry´s designated undersecretary, Dr. Wael Al Sheikh and Director of the National Institute of Public Health Dr. Rand Salman, represented by the Director of the WHO Office in Palestine, and the Director of International Cooperation at the Ministry, Mr. Maria Al-Aqra and the General Manager of warehouses, Mr. Saleh Thawabta, and Director General of the Minister’s office, Dr. Ali Abed Rabbo.
