Today, Thursday, the Ministry of Health announced 18 deaths, 1,906 new cases of Coronavirus, and 812 recoveries during the past 24 hours, after examining 7,642 samples.
Health said that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 80.3%, while the rate of active infections reached 18.8%, and the death rate was 0.9% of all infections.
It added that 9 deaths were recorded in the West Bank (Tubas 1, Bethlehem 1, Jenin 4, Nablus 2, Qalqilya 1), 6 deaths in the Gaza Strip, and 3 cases in Jerusalem.
As for recovering cases, they were recorded as follows: Hebron (92), Jenin (42), Nablus (42), Tulkarm (41), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (73), Bethlehem (139), Tubas (11), Qalqilya. (27), Salfit (65), Gaza Strip (210), Jerusalem (70).
She added that the new casualties were distributed according to the following: Hebron (166), Nablus (202), Bethlehem (135), Qalqilya (60), Ramallah and Al-Bireh (168), Jenin (137), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (7), Salfit (85). ), Tulkarm (64), Tubas (56), the suburbs of Jerusalem (30), the city of Jerusalem (140), the Gaza Strip (656).
The Ministry of Health pointed out that there are 57 patients in intensive care rooms, including 8 patients on artificial respirators.
