The Ministry of Health announced, Saturday, 6 deaths and 650 new infections with the Coronavirus, after examining 4,919 samples.
In a statement, the Ministry of Health said that 562 of the new infections were new in the West Bank, and 88 in the Gaza Strip. It indicated that 4 of the deaths were recorded in the West Bank (Al-Fawwar / Halhoul / Burqin / Deir Ghassana), and two cases in Gaza.
The Ministry of Health indicated that 191 new recoveries were recorded, 149 in the West Bank, and 42 in the Gaza Strip. The rate of recovery from the Corona virus in Palestine reached 69.8%, while the rate of active infections reached 29.6%, and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.
The new casualties were distributed as follows: Hebron Governorate (85), Nablus Governorate (119), Bethlehem Governorate (59), Qalqilya Governorate (53), Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate (72), Jenin (21), Jericho and Al-Aghwar (19), and Tubas. (9), Salfit (13), Tulkarm (54), the Gaza Strip (88), the suburbs of Jerusalem (58), while no new data were received about the epidemiological situation in the city of Jerusalem.
The Minister of Health added that new recoveries were recorded in: Bethlehem Governorate (145), Salfit Governorate (4), and (42) cases in the Gaza Strip.
The Minister of Health indicated that there are 36 patients in the intensive care rooms, including 11 patients on artificial respirators.
