The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, this morning, Saturday, two deaths, and 88 new cases of Coronavirus, during the past 24 hours.
In its daily report, the ministry stated that an official citizen Ali Al-Ron, 73, and Kamal Ahmed Hamdan, 51, died as a result of their infection with the Corona virus at the European Gaza Hospital.
She indicated that 42 new recoveries were recorded, from the health teams and their families, who were in the Turkish Friendship Hospital.
It indicated that the central laboratory carried out tests for 1707 new samples.
The total number of injured people since last March reached 1719, of which 1550 are active cases, of whom 1545 are from within the Gaza Strip, and 5 are returnees.
The number of people recovered reached 156, while the deaths were 13, including 12 cases from inside the Gaza Strip, and one of the returnees.
The Ministry of Health said that the emergency operations room is keeping abreast of developments in the epidemiological situation, and reviews its policies and procedures.
