Today, Friday, the Minister of Health, Mai Al-Kailah, announced that 652 new cases of Coronavirus, 8 deaths and 1,208 recoveries had been recorded during the past 24 hours, after conducting 5981 examinations.
Al-Kailah said in the epidemiological report on the latest developments in the Corona virus, that new deaths were recorded for a citizen (76 years) from Tulkarm governorate, a citizen (90 years) from Halhul in the Hebron governorate, a citizen (60 years) from Dura in the Hebron governorate, and a citizen (34 years). From the town of Al-Ram, and a 58-year-old citizen from Mehmas in the suburbs of Jerusalem, all of whom suffer from chronic diseases, except for the deceased citizen from Dura, in addition to two deaths recorded in Jerusalem, and the death of an 83-year-old female from the Gaza Strip.
She indicated that the new infections were distributed among the governorates, as follows:

She added that the rate of recovery from the virus in Palestine reached 70.5%, while the rate of active infections reached 28.9%, and the death rate was 0.6% of all infections.
Al-Kaila explained that new cases of recovery were recorded in the following governorates:

Tubas Governorate (1).
Nablus governorate (24).
Hebron Governorate (777).
Bethlehem Governorate (84).

She pointed out that there are 34 patients in intensive care rooms, including 10 patients on artificial respirators.
