A report issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs "OCHA" announced today, Friday, that the Israeli occupation has demolished 389 Palestinian buildings since the beginning of the "Corona" pandemic between March and August / Last August.
The report said that the occupation was demolishing the equivalent of 65 buildings a month, which is the highest average rate of demolitions in four years.
He explained that the series of demolitions left 442 Palestinians homeless during the aforementioned period, which exposed a large number of them to the risks associated with the epidemic.
He indicated that 205 people were displaced during the month of August alone, considering that this number exceeds those displaced in one month since January 2017.
The report noted that "the occupation demolished 50 buildings that were given to the Palestinians as humanitarian aid, which cast a shadow over the most vulnerable groups at all, and disrupted emergency operations."
