The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced, on Saturday, that a new infection with Corona virus was recorded from recent returnees via the Rafah crossing.
In a brief statement, the ministry said that a rapid examination was conducted for her inside the crossing and isolated as soon as the initial result was issued and another laboratory sample was withdrawn for testing viruses (PCR), which confirmed that the case was infected with the Coronavirus.
She added that the medical teams are following up on 1841 returnees through the Rafah crossing and conducting laboratory examination for viruses (PCR) for further epidemiological surveillance during the first week of hosting them in quarantine centers.
