The director of the Jerusalem Center for Social and Economic Rights, Ziyad Al-Hamouri, said that this year witnessed twenty self-demolitions in occupied Jerusalem, where citizens are forced to implement them to avoid paying the heavy fines imposed by the Israeli occupation, if the demolition process is carried out.
Al-Hamouri said in an interview with Voice of Palestine radio today, Saturday, that there is an escalation in the self-demolitions of the homes of citizens in occupied Jerusalem since the beginning of the year.
