The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced today, Tuesday, that it examined 705 new laboratory samples, and all its results were negative without recording any new infections with the Corona virus.
Ashraf al-Qidra, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, during a press statement, said that the medical staff at the Isolation Hospital are following 5 cases of Corona virus, which are still under treatment and their condition is reassuring.
And that the medical teams are following up the nine recovered cases at home, to check on their safety and work in a precaution, while 3 cases are recovering at the quarantine center at the Rafah crossing.
Al-Qudra pointed out that the quarantine period of 1076 hosts in various quarantine centers has been ended since the beginning of this week according to the approved health protocol, including 158 medical personnel, police and services.
He pointed out that the Gaza Ministry, following up on 1092 health hosts inside 12 quarantine centers, noting that 230 medical staff, police and services are taking care of them, and conducting health measures to end the quarantine of hundreds of them during the coming hours.
He called on all citizens to adhere to the rule of safety and prevention (Stay home), to maintain the wearing of masks and spacing, and to cleanse hands when leaving the extreme necessity, and to avoid crowds and gatherings.
The spokesperson for the health in Gaza called on the elderly, children, patients with weakened immune and respiratory and chronic diseases, to strictly adhere to the homes, avoid public places and follow continuous preventive measures.
He demanded that the concerned authorities assume their direct responsibilities in meeting the distress call launched by the Ministry of Health to provide medicines and medical consumables, sufficient quantities of laboratory examination materials, intensive care beds and ventilators for the Gaza Strip.
