According to a US State Department statement, the United States will provide the West Bank and Gaza Strip with approximately $ 5 million in international assistance to combat the outbreak of the virus.
The statement also indicated that the total US government assistance against the Corona Virus provided so far is approximately $ 200 million in emergency health assistance from the US Agency for International Development´s International Health Emergency Reserve Fund for outbreaks of infectious diseases and global health programs, approximately $ 195 million of Humanitarian assistance from the United States Agency for International Development.
